The people behind Emergency Locksmith Charlotte, NC

Meet the Team

Every service call is handled by a named person with a specific area of focus. These are the people who answer the phone, plan the route, and do the work at your vehicle, home, or business.

Marcus Reed

Founder and Lead Locksmith

Marcus handles technical assessments, complex lock problems, and much of the company's residential and commercial planning. He grew up in west Charlotte and still prefers diagnosing a stubborn old lock over replacing it without understanding why it failed. Outside work, he restores hand tools and spends fall weekends helping coach a neighborhood youth football program.

Tasha Greene

Dispatch and Customer Coordinator

Tasha grew up near University City and knows how quickly a short Charlotte-area drive can change during rush hour. She collects the details technicians need before dispatch, including vehicle information, door type, access restrictions, and authorization concerns. She is known within the team for keeping detailed route notes and following up when traffic or job conditions change.

Daniel Cho

Automotive Key and Fob Technician

Daniel focuses on car key replacement, transponder keys, remote-head keys, proximity fobs, and vehicle lockouts. Before joining the locksmith trade, he repaired phones and small electronics at a bench shop in Matthews. That background gave him the patience needed for delicate circuit boards, worn buttons, battery contacts, and electronic key testing.

Luis Mendoza

Residential and Commercial Locksmith

Luis handles home rekeying, deadbolts, storefront hardware, commercial levers, exit devices, and many door-operation problems. His earlier carpentry experience helps him recognize when the real issue is a shifted frame, sagging hinge, damaged edge, or poor latch alignment. He lives with his family near the east side of Charlotte and volunteers on community repair projects several times a year.

How work is assigned

Assignments are based on the type of problem rather than on whoever happens to be nearest. Automotive key and fob work, residential rekeying, and commercial door hardware each call for different tools, parts, and experience, so the details you provide during the first conversation determine who is dispatched.

Scheduling depends on technician availability, current workload, travel conditions across the Charlotte area, and whether compatible parts or key blanks are on hand. You will be told who is being dispatched to your location.
